The Dog house     Did you know? Dogs are descendants from the wolves. Wolves live in packs with an alpha (Means a leader) male and an alpha female. The other wolves that are a part of the pack always follows the alpha wolves. When food supplies were hard to find for the wolves, sometimes wolves would follow humans and act as human protectors. So, of course the humans would feed them, that is how over thousands of years, wolves were domesticated into dogs. (Isn't that amazing?) Just like the wolf family, your dog has a pack. He/She belongs to your family pack. The person that trains the dog is usually that alpha to the dog. You should never allow your dog to be the alpha - ever! If your dog thought that it was the alpha, then your dog would be aggressive and try to run you and the pack. Your dog must be trained to love, respect and obey the rules of your family-pack.
